Taylor was born and reared in Russellville, AR, where he stayed until graduating from Russellville’s one and only high school.

He then attended Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL, where he earned a BFA in film and a BA in religion.

After graduating, Taylor resisted the obvious move to LA and went to Europe. There he spent three months touring Eastern and Western Europe alone.

When he returned he moved to the Greater Philadelphia area of Pennsylvania to serve as Line Producer on his fellow classmate’s first feature, “The Book of Caleb”, which was later accepted into IFP’s 2006 Roughcut Labs.

After a brief stint in New York City working as a Unit Production Manager and learning the ropes of the catering industry, he succumbed to the inevitable and moved to Los Angeles.

He spent his first six months in a management assistant position before returning to his love of production, and began working as a production coordinator for Allentown.
