EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

Mr. Iskender Syrgabekov was born in 1956 and has begun his career in 1979 as a research officer at the Research Institute of Physics of High Energy of the Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan.  Later, in 1991-1993 he worked as a Head of Representative Office in the USSR (Soviet Union) and Head of Moscow office of International Business Communications Inc.  He moved to a Dutch company Grid to head their office in Almaty, Kazakhstan where he worked till 1995, prior to establishing and managing as a CEO and President of the join venture company Dolon International.  In 1995, he joined one of the most prominent then local private companies, Accept Corporation where he subsequently held positions of Director of the Department of Investment Projects, Vice President in charge of Business Development, and Director General (CEO) of Accept Corporation.  He left Accept Corporation in 1999, to be one of the key shareholders and head of media holding company Caravan, Chairman of the Board of Caravan newspaper company, Board Member of KTK TV channel.  Having completed the turnaround of Caravan holdings in 1999, he returned to Accept Corporation as a President/CEO (2000-2001), and Chairman of the Board (2001-2002).  In the meantime, from 1999, Mr. Syrgabekov was a key shareholder and served as chairman of editorial committee of Continent Magazine.

Since June 2002, Mr. Syrgabekov is a co- Chairman of Central Logistics Ltd, one of the largest customs broker and international logistics company in Kazakhstan.

From 2004 to 2008  Mr. Syrgabekov was the CEO of Rauan Media Group, one of the prominent national mass-media holding, and General Producer of Astana TV channel.

Since 2006 Syrgabekov, Laumulin and Bergaliev are the executive producers of Murder by Proxy documentary film, which is produced in co-operation with Allentown Production, Hollywood and directed by Emil Chiaberi.

Iskender Syrgabekov holds MSc/BSc degree in electronics technology from the St Petersburg Institute of Electronics Technology.  He is also an author of over 20 scientific publications and holds 5 patents.
